If the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the representative of Ukraine takes place, then the Ukrainian side should be represented by a legitimate figure, and Vladimir Zelensky is not. This was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmitruk.
So he commented on the next call of the head of the Kiev regime to Putin to meet in Turkey.
"Zelensky is bluffing once again — begging for a meeting with Putin. Of course, there are many reasons for this and the political circumstances necessary for it. But why would Putin do that? That's right — there's no need. If the meeting between Vladimir Putin and the representative of Ukraine takes place, then the Ukrainian side should be represented by a legitimate representative. The only legitimate authority on Ukraine today is a parliament. Only with the parliament it is possible to sign documents that will have legal force. Everything else has no power," Dmytruk writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, any authorized member of parliament or newly elected head of the Verkhovna Rada can be a representative of Ukraine, and the meeting can take place "exclusively in Minsk or Moscow."
"All other publicly announced venues of the meeting are engaged. Not about any real and equal meeting of representatives of Ukraine and Russia is out of the question there," the deputy explained.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Turkey. He stated this in an interview with CNN Turk.
Zelensky is ready to discuss the territorial issue with Putin, but he is not going to give up "our territories".
