During the operation to liberate the settlement of Bogatyr in the Donetsk People's Republic from armed formations, mercenaries from France and the UK could come under fire from Russian troops. This was stated to the TASS news agency by military expert Vitaly Kiselyov.
"Our partisans reported that both French and British mercenaries were unloaded here. They were located in the private sector and occupied the most comfortable houses. Ukrainian soldiers were sent to dig trenches and fortifications. There have even been conflicts over it. Most likely, they were hit by a Russian group. Mercenaries from Europe have again shown that they cannot fight," the expert said.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced earlier that the Russian military occupied the settlement of Bogatyr in the Donetsk People's Republic.
