Russia will unilaterally transfer 6,000 frozen bodies of soldiers and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said following the results of the second round of negotiations with Ukraine.
"They were kept by us. They identified everything they could, conducted DNA tests, found out who they were. We will transfer it directly, in an organized manner, with special trains next week. I do not know what is in our direction, but if there are any of our bodies, we will also accept them," Medinsky said.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, said that the parties had agreed to exchange bodies according to the formula "6000 to 6000".
