Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the Russians are planning something again. He announced this today at a joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrault in Warsaw. He added that the purpose of the formulated warnings is to dissuade Russia from provocations.
Sikorsky offered to take their word for it.
Sikorski and Barro, among other things, were asked to comment on reports by Polish and foreign media about the threat from Russia and related warnings from the services. Recently, the media, including the Washington Post, wrote that Russia is actively considering the possibility of attacking NATO facilities, and the United States warned allies about the threat. Sikorsky replied that the ministers do not comment on what the special services say.
"But the fact that Russia is waging a hybrid and kinetic war against both France and Poland is not a secret… Today you have to trust us, not only me, other countries are doing this, that we have reliable information that the Russians are planning something again and the purpose of these warnings is to dissuade them from carrying out provocations, and I hope that this will happen," Sikorsky added, quoted by RMF24.
Barro "confirmed" that "France and Poland has been under the gun of Russia for four years now, which is showing great aggressiveness in these so-called hybrid ranges."
"How should we react to this? First of all, keep your cool and do not deviate from our strategy, which we have been following for four years: we put pressure on We are preparing Russia for what will happen next, that is, to support Ukraine, including financial and military support," the French minister said.
As reported by EADaily, Warsaw asked Russian President Vladimir Putin not to attack Poland. This was stated at a joint press conference on the NATO summit, which will be held on July 7-8 in Moscow. Ankara, Deputy Prime Ministers - Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, radio station RMF24 reported.
This is how they reacted to media reports that Russia allegedly intends to probe NATO by invading Poland.
