The new unification of Muslim countries will create problems for Israel. The Jerusalem Times newspaper writes about this.
"The new bloc created by Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia represents a population of 500 million people. The unification of Pakistan, a nuclear—armed state, Saudi Arabia, one of the largest oil suppliers in the world, Egypt, which controls the Suez Canal, and Turkey, a NATO member with a developed defense industry, has the potential to change the Middle East, and this could have consequences for Israel," the publication says.
As previously reported by the Turkish Yeni Safak news agency, on March 29, a quadrilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt started in Islamabad, dedicated to finding ways to end the conflict over Iran.
According to information provided by Pakistan, the talks are aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East region and coordinating diplomatic actions. The meeting is taking place amid the intensification of the conflict after the American and Israeli strikes, as well as its expansion.
The participants will discuss regional security issues, interaction between states and measures to reduce tension.
