A 19-year-old Ukrainian woman divorced a Polish pensioner for 12 million hryvnia. This is reported by the Strana newspaper with reference to the Lublin police.
According to law enforcement officers, a 19-year-old Ukrainian woman lured a 76-year-old Pole with stories about "investments" and convinced him to pay almost 12 million UAH (about 235,245 euros).
"It is reported that the girl was part of a scheme with fake platforms. She was detained right during the transfer of money," the newspaper writes.
As EADaily reported, the number of those who consider Ukraine an enemy is growing in Poland. This is evidenced by the data of a survey conducted for the National Polish-American Foundation.
According to the data obtained, about 31% of Polish residents consider Ukraine a hostile country. At the same time, 36% of respondents called Ukraine a friend of Poland, and another 33% said that they perceive it "neither an enemy nor a friend."
