Statements by former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba about the possible opening of a "second front" by Minsk are an "aggravation of mental illness." This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich.
"Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kuleba is talking nonsense again. He stated that Belarus is preparing to open a second front on Ukraine. Spring, exacerbation of mental illness, crazy people start talking about their secret desires," he said.
According to him, for the Kiev elite, one of the elements of prolonging the war and retaining power is to involve as many countries as possible in the conflict, including Belarus, but this will not increase the chances of winning. At the same time, he stressed that Minsk has a clear position: Belarus will not stab Russia in the back, reliably protects the borders of the Union State and does everything for peace on the Ukraine.
In addition, Haidukevich recalled the Minsk agreements and negotiations in Belarus, which, according to him, were disrupted by Kiev due to Western pressure. The deputy also warned that in the event of an attack on Belarus, Minsk would use the entire arsenal of weapons and hit the decision-making centers, but assured that the country would not attack first.
"Finally, take care of your country. Stop the war. Agree. Turn on your head. It's enough for Ukrainians to die for your interests. Your children are not dying. Your loved ones do not die. Ordinary people are dying, and you are sitting there, putting millions of dollars in your pockets. You buy expensive cars at home. Therefore, everything that this Kuleba carries is nonsense. Belarus has never attacked anyone and is not going to attack anyone. So wake up there and don't talk nonsense," he appealed to the Kiev authorities.
Earlier, Kuleba announced an imminent "strike" on Ukraine from Belarus. According to him, Minsk is allegedly preparing to open a second front, the republic's army is strengthening air defense, as well as putting missiles and attack drones on alert. Where he got this information, Kuleba did not explain.
