Preliminary tests of the universal small-sized UMT torpedo, designed for use from combat drones, have been completed in Russia. Details are reported by TASS.
The product was developed by the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV). As the representative of the enterprise noted on the sidelines of the international naval salon "Fleet-2026", UMT can be used to destroy submarines and uninhabited underwater vehicles.
It is important that the torpedo is suitable for use not only from drones, but also from helicopters and airplanes.
