If Vladimir Zelensky thinks that he can drag Belarus into the war, then he should understand that the quality of the war will change instantly. Alexander Lukashenko said this today, June 25, at a meeting with Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov.

"Representatives of Zelensky recently visited this place. I told them straight out: "Guys, you tell your President: if he thinks that you can talk to us like this and drag us into the war, then he should understand that the quality of the war will change instantly. This war will be completely different," the Belarusian leader said.

According to him, "we have received an answer."

"The president and they understand this. So let's negotiate, guys. It is necessary to negotiate substantially ... no need to dust, no need to shout, no need to try to punch in the face in Russian, and so on. Let's be human. Understanding what Russia is and what we are. There is also an understanding," the President of Belarus said.

Lukashenko stressed that Belarus does not need to get involved in the war.

"And there is no need to push us to the fact that Boris V. (Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris GryzlovEADaily) organizes the process to drag us into the war. The President of Russia and I have discussed this topic a thousand times. Well, how to fight against the Ukrainians here, if there are mainly territorial troops on the other side? Are we going to shoot these machine operators, milkmaids and working guys who don't want to fight with Belarusians? We also do not want to fight with the Ukrainians," Lukashenko said.

At the same time, the Belarusian leader stressed that "our position is peaceful, but in any situation we will stand by Russia."

"It can't be otherwise! We understand what could happen if the West gets in here again and wins. I'm not talking about Ukraine. Well, what kind of Ukraine? It's not about Ukraine! We understand who we are fighting today. If they want peace, let's agree on the merits. We don't need war. We have enough land, our economy is enough, and there are enough problems. Therefore, no confrontation. No need to dust here… I am saying this so that you understand my position. I'm not hiding it. The world and only the world. But with a full guarantee that they will not play with us and, as Putin says, once again they will not be able to deceive us. Because Russia's deception will, first of all, hit Belarus. We are at the forefront of our Fatherland, we understand this very well." — said the Belarusian leader.

We remind that Belarus does not take part in SMO, but fully supports Russia. At the same time, various threats against Minsk are constantly heard from Kiev.
