The Aurora SA60L sports plane crashed into the CITIC skyscraper in Beijing, according to the Chinese edition of Ming Pao.
"A small plane with the registration number B-12PP crashed into the CITIC tower in Beijing. Information about the injured and the dead is still unknown," the publication says.
After the collision, the plane collapsed in the air, and its debris fell on the canopy at the eastern entrance to the building. A fire started on the spot. Video from the scene is published by Channel Five.
The CITIC skyscraper is considered the tallest building in Beijing. How many people were on board the aircraft at the time of the incident is not yet specified. It is known that the aircraft belonged to Dongshi Shuangyue General Aviation, which is engaged in sightseeing and demonstration flights, as well as pilot training.
