Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Pozner, commenting on rumors about his return to Channel One stated that there are no prerequisites for this yet.
The day before, the First broadcast a repeat of Pozner's interview with director and sculptor Rezo Gabriadze on the 90th anniversary of his birth. The appearance of the program on the air of Channel One gave rise to rumors about the return of the journalist.
"Wait for my return on "Channel One", of course, it is possible, but you can hardly wait until I was going to do it, I don't know why many people decided that I was coming back," he told the NSN portal.
Posner once again stressed that he has no such plans.
"Maybe I'll start doing irregular interviews with people I'm interested in in the fall and release them on my website, but these are preliminary plans," the TV presenter shared.
As reported by EADaily, on October 14, 2024 on The premiere of Pozner's eight-part film "The Turkish Notebook" took place on Channel One. Before that, in the first interview in 2.5 years, the journalist said that he dreams of returning to The first channel, but doubts that this is possible.
Return to The first federal channel of Posner, which, after the start of SMO, left the Russia, and earlier showed himself to be a Russophobe and an enemy of Orthodoxy, is a sad symptom, according to military expert and blogger Yuri Podolyaka. When asked if he was a patriot of Russia or not, Posner answered honestly that he, who had never considered himself either Russian in spirit or a patriot of the country, was just making money here. And he preferred to live in France (the place where he was born).
Actress and public figure Yana Poplavskaya also spoke about the return of Posner. She stated that she perceives Posner's return to television as a "provocation" or "mockery of people."
After that, Posner appeared in the final episode of the series "Unscrupulous in St. Petersburg." The journalist played himself, in a short episode he even uttered his own text.
