A large terminal of oil products in the Black Sea Constanta redirects diesel fuel from Ukraine to Serbia. Sanctions have reformatted the work of Romanian traders.
"During October, the supply of diesel fuel from "Constanta's access to the Ukrainian market was restricted due to the sanctions imposed by Ukraine on the Constanta oil terminal due to the receipt of large volumes of Indian products there. But other sanctions, this time American, have opened a window of opportunity for Romanian traders," writes the Ukrainian edition of enkorr.
Since October, the United States has stopped granting exemptions from sanctions to Serbian Nis, which is controlled by Gazprom Neft, and Croatian JONAF has stopped pumping oil to Serbia's largest refinery.
Enkorr information is confirmed by AIS data of vessels. Thus, the tanker UBC Samoilovich delivered fuel from Romania to Serbia
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the state-owned company MOL will help Serbia with oil products, but will not be able to cover the entire deficit.
According to enkorr, Euronova Energies has switched to the Serbian market and is currently actively engaged in loading barges up the Danube.
"If from Constanta we need two days to get to Izmail, then to Serbia — about a week, " the company said.
Also, diesel fuel supplies can go to Serbia from Bulgaria, but there are also problems there due to sanctions - already to Lukoil.
"We have been receiving a lot of requests from Serbs lately, but there are nuances with supplies," Bulmarket told the publication. They explained that the Bulgarian government is preparing a ban on the export of diesel fuel and kerosene, which is connected with sanctions against Lukoil, which operates the country's only oil refinery.
