Historian Tamara Eidelman❶, who was sentenced in the case of the justification of Nazism, told about her emotions when reading the news from Russia. This was discussed in an interview with journalist Stanislav Kucher❶.
"Now when I hear the news from Russia — I'm starting to cry," admitted Eidelman ❶.
She noted that therefore she tries to follow Russian news less. However, the information still comes across and causes strong negative emotions.
As EADaily reported, in mid-June, the Moscow city court sentenced Eidelman❶ to 8 years in a general regime colony for rehabilitating Nazism and spreading fakes about The Armed Forces of Russia. In addition, the former teacher is prohibited from administering websites for five years.
The court also decided to deprive Eidelman❶ of the title of Honored Teacher of Russia.
