Milonov urged Wildberries to attack Kiev

Russian State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed creating Wildberry detachments to attack Kiev in response to the destruction of the company's logistics centers.

"I really hope that Bakalchuk (Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim. — EADaily) will equip a separate detachment of Wildberries hawks, which will simply destroy half of Kiev in retaliation," the deputy said.

Earlier, another State Duma deputy, known for ambiguous statements, Andrei Gurulev, said that marketplace owners should invest in protecting their logistics and warehouses.

"Those who have money and are engaged in this business should specifically engage in at least passive protection of their facilities today. This must be done urgently and everywhere," RTVI quotes Guruleva.

Tatyana Kim reported on July 22 about the drone attack on logistics centers in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk. Recent massive UAV attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Electrical installations and Kotovsk disabled 7% of logistics capacity. The cost of restoration is estimated from 20 to 35.8 billion rubles.

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Small and medium-sized enterprises, Sergei Kazankov, in an interview with Free Press, noted that, in his opinion, entrepreneurs would be affected in this situation.

"As I understand it, Wildberries will receive insurance for destroyed warehouses. But sellers are unlikely to wait for compensation for the goods burned there. A couple of weeks before the fires, this marketplace updated the offer agreements, and now sellers have nothing to count on. Amazing foresight," said the deputy from the Communist Party.

When asked whether such large logistics centers should ensure the safety of their facilities from external interference, including independently, the interlocutor of the publication replied: this is still the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense and the special services.
