The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, called on the European Union to show Russia that it cannot be intimidated by drones. This is reported by the radio station RMF FM.

This is how she commented on yesterday's Russian UAV attacks near the Polish-Ukrainian border.

" This is a clear signal addressed to the Western world. The idea was to intimidate countries so that they would not support Ukraine. We should do exactly the opposite", — said Callas.

The first response to the attack, as the radio reports, will be the extension of anti-Russian sanctions, which cover almost 3,000 people and organizations. So far, it has been blocked by Slovakia, supported by France, demanding the expulsion of one of the Russian oligarchs (Alisher Usmanov. — EADaily) from the list. It is assumed that tomorrow the sanctions issue will be resolved in Brussels.

At the same time, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrault said that the Russian shelling of a train near the Ukrainian-Polish border was aimed at intimidating and dividing European countries. According to him, it is no coincidence that the attack occurred " at a time when Ukraine hosted a major economic support forum, which was attended by a large number of business representatives and diplomats from all over the world, especially from Europe ".

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, in turn, called the incident "another Russian provocation and a signal from Moscow that it is necessary to stop helping Ukraine".

As reported by EADaily, the target of yesterday's attack by Russian drones was a technical locomotive at the "Dorogusk — Yagodin " border crossing. This was reported by RMF FM radio station with reference to the latest results of the investigation of the Polish special services.

The explosion occurred when the Kiev — Warsaw train was standing at the station, no one was injured as a result of the attack.
