The fighters of the BARS-Kursk brigade shot down a Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missile from a machine gun. This was announced by the governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein.

"A unique case is an example of what a Russian soldier is capable of. "As a result, our volunteers did not just shoot down a rocket. They prevented a terrible thing and saved human lives," the head of the region emphasized.

He added that volunteers from BARS‑Kursk" will be presented for awards. And the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev thanked the "leopards" on behalf of all Tula.
