Peskov: There is nothing more to talk about in Ukraine — it will pay for everything

The statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the proposals on the Ukrainian conflict was exhaustive. This was announced today, September 28, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

"I think the president has very exhaustively stated our position, " Peskov said at a briefing.

He added that Ukraine will pay for its strikes on Russia.

" The president also spoke about this — Ukraine will have to pay the price for the actions that have taken place in recent months. This is happening now. Our armed forces continue a special military operation, very consistently strike at those targets that they consider appropriate," Peskov said.

Moreover, Russia will ensure its security and make it so that everyone will not be discouraged from trying to strike at it.

"The national interests of the Russian Federation are very well known to everyone. We have to guarantee our safety. We must make it so that no one is in the habit of announcing plans to deliver a crushing blow to Russia within 40 days, as it sounded, for example, from Kiev. This is the national interest of the Russian Federation".

Now Russia will make decisions on negotiations with Ukraine based on its interests.
