Vladimir Zelensky asked Trump to block the Russian analogue of Starlink — the Rassvet satellite system. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime in an interview with the Financial Times newspaper.
Zelensky voiced the request, including during a recent meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to him, China joined the work on "Dawn", in connection with which he asked US President Donald Trump to impose sanctions against both Russian and Chinese companies associated with the project.
"Zelensky said that he had asked Trump 'several times' for his administration to impose sanctions against organizations involved in this project, including in New York when he met with the US president on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly," the publication quoted Strana as saying.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian counterpart of Starlink "Dawn" is seriously underestimated in Ukraine. This was stated by Zelensky's adviser Sergei Flash Beskrestnov.
Russia is capable of putting many satellites into orbit at the same time with one launch, which threatens a "small catastrophe," he noted.
