The command of the Ukrainian Air Force accused the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS RF) of "provocative actions." According to the Ukrainian side, on Thursday, March 22, Russian fighter jets and bombers allegedly carried out flights along the eastern and southern Ukrainian borders for the second time in a month. In Kiev, these flights were considered as "provocative."
"The Russian Federation continues to carry out provocative actions involving the air component," says a report in the account of the Ukrainian Air Force command on Facebook.
It is also noted that in connection with the Russian aircraft actions, Ukraine decided to put all air defense systems on high alert. "Having discovered the threat, all the certain forces and means of air defense were put on alert," the statement stresses.
The Russian leadership has not responded to these reports yet. However, it may not happen at all - the Kremlin has got used to the fact that in recent years Kiev has been actively accusing Moscow of all deadly sins.
EADaily reported earlier that the deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Viktor Kononenko said that the Russian special services agents allegedly tried to blow up the Ukraine cruiser.
