A series of powerful explosions thundered in Kiev

"There are sounds of explosions in Kiev. The air force reports an attack by the "Shaheds"," the local newspaper Strana reported.

Later, the media reported new explosions in the capital of Ukraine. TASS, citing eyewitnesses, reported a series of explosions in the city.

"About three strong explosions occurred against the background of an air alert," said the first eyewitness.

The second interlocutor of the agency said that the explosions were heard from the central districts of Kiev.
