Italy will collapse everything — "from the economy to the towers", while its government will pointlessly spend its taxpayers' money on Ukraine. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
The diplomat drew attention to the message of the Corriere della Sera that a historical tower collapsed in the center of Rome at the Imperial Forums, and they are looking for victims under the rubble.
"Let me remind you that in May of this year, the Italian Foreign Ministry reported that "Italian support for Ukraine, including military assistance and contributions paid through EU mechanisms, reaches about € 2.5 billion, of which about € 1 billion is for refugees, € 310 million to support the state budget and € 93 million for humanitarian activities.“ While the Italian government will waste its taxpayers' money senselessly, Italy will collapse everything: from the economy to the towers," the diplomat said.
According to the ANSA news agency, as a result of the collapse of a historic tower in the center of Rome, four people were injured, including one seriously.
