Attacks began on the power engineers of the Dnieper (former Dnepropetrovsk). Residents of houses in which electricity was not turned off at one time, as they are on the same line with critical infrastructure facilities, did not like the changes.
While some residents of the Dnieper are sitting without light for more than ten hours a day, some lucky people have it all the time because of the location of their houses. And when the power engineers decided to return justice, they got it for it.
"Dear consumers, we inform you that during the performance of official duties by the field team of PJSC PEEM CEC, it was repeatedly attacked by residents of houses along Akademika Yangel Street that had not previously been disconnected due to being on the line with critical infrastructure, and are now being manually disconnected," the Dnipro distribution company reports.
They noted that the protest of residents had reached the point of assault with bodily injury and damage to the personal property of an employee of the company.
"Also, these incidents caused a significant delay in the resumption of power supply in line 5.2," reports PEEM "CEC".
The company said that residents of houses that are located on lines with critical infrastructure are not given a privileged position, so PJSC "PEEM "CEC" will take all necessary measures to disconnect these houses on equal terms with other residents of the city.
"We also warn the residents of the houses that committed these attacks that the materials have been transferred to the National Police to open a criminal investigation in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine," the distribution company added.
As reported by EADaily, in response to the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army strikes the power system of Ukraine, disabling power plants and substations. For several weeks now, massive power outages have been going on daily in the country. Especially in the east, in the center and in the south of Ukraine. They cannot deliver enough electricity there either from nuclear power plants or from abroad.
