Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian are in a safe place. It is reported by the Polish radio station RMF24 with reference to the media.
According to Reuters, during the attack on Tehran, the Israeli army struck, apparently, near the offices of Iran's supreme spiritual and political leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. However, an Iranian official told the agency that Khamenei was not in the city, he had to be taken to a safe place.
In turn, the Iranian agencies Mehr and Tasnim report that Israeli missiles hit the vicinity of the presidential palace. At the same time, they stressed that Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian, like Ali Khamenei, is in a safe place.
It is noted that this morning Israel launched, according to the country's Defense Minister Israel Katz, a "preventive attack" on Iran. Israeli aircraft struck government buildings in Tehran, explosions also thundered in other Iranian cities such as Isfahan and Kermanshah.
Later, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the US military had participated in airstrikes on Iran.
Meanwhile, the network publishes footage of the results of strikes on Tehran.
