The EU has frozen the approval of a loan plan for Hungary for € 16 billion, RMF24 reports. This is happening against the background of Hungary blocking a loan of € 90 billion to Kiev.

The publication, citing a source among European diplomats, writes that it is about Hungary's plan for the SAFE defense program. According to the publication, the decision is due to the fact that Budapest is blocking the allocation of € 90 billion for military assistance to Ukraine.

The European Commission said that the assessment of the Hungarian plan continues.
