Lavrov: Western countries have declared war on Russia

Western countries have declared war on Russia, in which the Kiev regime is on Ukraine is being used as a geopolitical battering ram, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

As RIA Novosti reports, the head of Russian diplomacy expressed his opinion during a meeting with the heads of Russian non-profit organizations.

"At some point in our history, after the creation of the UN, the OSCE and after the disappearance of the Soviet Union, the prospects for coexistence and even cooperation with the West seemed very realistic to us. All this has gone into oblivion. An open war has been declared on us," the minister stated.

He stressed that the Kiev regime is used in this confrontation as a "tip". The Foreign Minister noted that this "tip" would be helpless without material filling with weapons, intelligence data, satellite systems, assistance in training military personnel provided by the West.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Sergey Lavrov said that Berlin had drawn the right conclusions after the publication of the list of Defense Ministry targets in Europe.
