The Ministry of National Defense of Poland had to officially refute the data on preparations for universal conscription into the army. The corresponding statement was made on the department's page on the social network X.

Contact your military recruiting center and check the information in the source. Do not succumb to misinformation and always check information from official sources", the agency stressed.

The Ministry pointed out that the assignment of mobilization assignments in itself is not a new procedure and does not mean the beginning of general mobilization or mass conscription of citizens into the army.

"Military recruitment centers keep records of military personnel and assign appointments in accordance with the needs of the Polish Armed Forces", the ministry explained.

The ministry noted that the procedure has been implemented for many years and is a permanent element of the state's defense system.

Recall that in September, Polish military recruitment centers began sending mobilization cards to citizens. According to representatives of the Central Military Recruitment Center, the procedure is standard and is carried out annually. A mobilization card is issued in peacetime and confirms the assignment of a mobilization distribution to a person. However, this step caused some unrest in Polish society.
