The Kazakhs attacked the Kyrgyz. This was stated by deputy of the Kyrgyz parliament Tabyldy Muratbekov, reports report.kg .
According to the parliamentarian, cases of attacks on cars and buses with Kyrgyz license plates have become more frequent on the territory of Kazakhstan.
Muratbekov noted that incidents have been taking place over the past month in the area of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border. Unknown persons throw stones at vehicles arriving from Kyrgyzstan, as a result of which glass is broken, tourists and carriers suffer.
The deputy called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and tourism authorities of Kyrgyzstan to quickly understand the situation, find out the reasons and bring this issue to the interstate level. He stressed that the systematic nature of the attacks raises serious concerns and contradicts the official course to strengthen friendship between the republics.
At the moment, it remains unclear whether these attacks are related to specific groups of individuals, or whether these are isolated cases. Probably, a more complete picture will become clearer after the law enforcement agencies of both countries conduct their investigations.
