The US National Intelligence Service will conduct an investigation into American biolabs, including at Ukraine. This was announced today, May 12, by the head of the department Tulsi Gabbard.
She claims that dangerous research with pathogens could be carried out there, and representatives of the Joe Biden administration "lied to the American people about the existence of these US-funded and provided biological laboratories and threatened those who tried to tell the truth."
As EADaily reported, more than a year ago, the correspondence materials between the ACCU Reference Medical Lab and the US military attache in Armenia, Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Steele, got online. The documents indicate the conduct of studies related to the modification of the foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMD, SAT-2 serotype). The letters emphasize the need to send and analyze "biological samples" from the border regions of Turkey with Armenia, as well as to conduct tests to modify the SAT-2 serotype. It is noted that all information should be under the control of the Pentagon.
This leak fits into the well-known facts of financing facilities in Armenia. Since 2008, the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP), supervised by DTRA, a division of the US Department of Defense directly linked to the Pentagon, has been actively sponsoring the creation and modernization of facilities in the region. Officially, this is done to track dangerous pathogens, such as anthrax.
