The Russian military has shot down 45 drones flying to Moscow since midnight, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
"The Air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed thirteen UAVs. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote on the Maks platform.
Shortly before that, the mayor reported about 32 destroyed drones.
