Medvedchuk: The West has launched a political mechanism to replace Zelensky

The collective West has launched a political mechanism to replace Vladimir Zelensky, starting with Ukraine has a campaign of forecasts and opinion polls. This was stated by the chairman of the council of the movement "Other Ukraine" Viktor Medvedchuk.

In his article on the website, he drew attention to the fact that Ukrainian opinion polls show huge problems in Ukraine and Zelensky personally. So, according to a study by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology, the number of Ukrainians wishing to replace Zelensky has grown to 67% in three years, which is a threefold increase in this indicator (in 2023, this figure was 23%). At the same time, 83% of respondents want to change the Verkhovna Rada (an increase of 14%), and the Ukrainian government — 74% (an increase of 24%).

"Why are Ukrainian sociologists so emboldened? Are they really not afraid of being behind bars or being sent to war, as has already happened to many people objectionable to the regime? It's simple — Western support for the regime is melting, and sociological agencies are more able than others to keep their noses in the wind. In addition, most opinion polls in Ukraine are ordered abroad, and the regime has no way to prohibit the publication of data. Recently, there have been more and more such orders," Medvedchuk notes.

In this regard, he emphasizes that the collective West has already launched a campaign of forecasts of Zelensky's imminent replacement. So, he pointed out, at the beginning of 2026, The Washington Post predicted that Zelensky would leave office until next winter, and former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny would take his place. Experts of The Economist magazine and Bloomberg are talking about a change of the Kiev regime in the coming autumn.

"What does that mean? This means that the political mechanism for replacing Zelensky has been launched, and it is impossible to stop it," Medvedchuk summed up.
