The American company Apple continues to remove Russian applications from its AppStore AppStore. This time, the Yandex Pay application disappeared in a number of foreign countries. It is still available for users with a Russian account region.

Earlier, the company removed a number of Russian applications from the AppStore. They have become unavailable for download without prior notice. Apple said it was acting in accordance with the law and sanctions.

As EADaily reported, on June 25, all VK holding applications disappeared from the App Store at the same time. Zen, VK Video, VK Messenger, VK Music, and VK Dating apps have become unavailable for download. The main VKontakte and Odnoklassniki applications have also been removed, as well as Mail.ru .

What kind of sanctions are in question, Apple could not specify. VK holding itself is not included either in the EU sanctions lists or in the US sanctions list. However, the head of VK, Vladimir Kiriyenko, is under EU, US and Great Britain.

The Ministry of Finance called the removal of applications a "politically motivated decision" and asked the FAS to promptly review the situation. On the eve of the FAS issued a warning to Apple and demanded to eliminate claims to work in Russia. If the company does not comply with the requirements by July 15, it may face an antitrust case and a fine of up to 4 billion rubles.
