In the Spanish province of Salamanca, a tragedy occurred during the celebration of the victory of the football team at the last World Cup. This is reported by the European media.
According to the Europa Press agency, citing police sources, the incident occurred on Monday night in the city of Ciudad Rodrigo. After the victory of the Spanish team at the World Cup, dozens of fans took to the streets to celebrate the event. Young people gathered near one of the city's fountains, but at some point part of the structure collapsed. One of the elements of the structure fell on a 13-year-old teenager. Despite the help and attempts to save him, the child died.
In addition, as a result of the incident, three more young people were injured. Now they are in serious condition. The circumstances of the incident are being established. Experts are investigating the causes of the collapse of the structure.
