Belarus gave Russia gasoline

Gasoline supplies from Belarus to Russia continues to grow. The Union State is becoming a serious source of compensation for losses due to unscheduled refinery repairs.

"Supplies of gasoline and diesel fuel from Belarus to Russia reached a new monthly record in July amid fuel shortages caused by unplanned shutdowns of Russian oil refineries," Reuters writes, citing sources and calculations.

So, the supply of gasoline in Russia by rail increased by 13% in July compared to June and amounted to 212 thousand tons, and the supply of diesel fuel doubled to 162 thousand tons.

As Reuters notes, Belarus supplies fuel to Russia from two refineries that process Russian oil and have a total capacity of 24 million tons per year.

"Russia has also started importing gasoline from India, Kazakhstan and Morocco," Reuters added.
