The Soviet and Russian actress of theater, cinema and voice acting, TV presenter Irina Bezrukova refused to participate in all the performances that were scheduled this summer. She announced this in her telegram channel.
"I am very sorry that this summer, for the first time in my entire acting career, I will not be able to play the scheduled performances," the actress laments.
At the Comedy Theater, she was scheduled to perform "Pygmalion," "The Marriage of Figaro," and "Office Romance."
"Unfortunately, none of my heroines can be played in a wheelchair in the current circumstances, so I had to ask for a replacement," she added, thanking the actresses who are already being replaced.
Separately, Bezrukova thanked those who wanted to come to her performances from other cities, guessing the trip.
"I'm really sorry that our summer meeting will not take place. Thank you to everyone who writes, supports and wishes you a speedy recovery. I am doing everything to recover as quickly as possible," she concluded.
As EADaily reported, on August 7, the actress was hospitalized with a broken leg, calling the situation an "unusual premiere."
"For the first time in my life, I'm breaking something for myself. Nothing foreshadowed trouble," Bezrukova noted.
