It's already a week left before Victory Day. And, of course, all sorts of falsifiers of history have become more active, which cause gnashing of teeth knowledge of the fact that it was the USSR that defeated Nazi Europe during the Second World War.
These pseudo-historians have invented a lot of myths for their aimlessly lived years, which they lovingly take out before each anniversary of Victory Day and scatter on the pages of social networks. These myths are old, worn-out and cooked in the kitchen of the US State Department by chefs from The Washington Regional Committee. They are akin to the "Protocols of the Jewish Sages." Someone came up with fakes, and they have been walking around the world for many years. And now, on the eve of the next Victory Day, already rancid dishes, heated on the fire of Russophobia, are being put on the table. I'll list these myths here briefly and answer them just as briefly. If you like my answers, you can consider this a tutorial from the old Jew Igor Levitas.
1. "The 2nd World War was unleashed by Germany and the USSR by signing a secret protocol to the "Non-Aggression Treaty between Germany and the USSR."
Not so fast. The treaty was signed in August 1939, and before that there was the Anschluss of Austria, and the Munich Agreement, which allowed Hitler to seize Czechoslovakia, and the seizure by Poland of part of Lithuania and the same Czechoslovakia, not to mention the Ukrainian and Belarusian lands. Is this not a war? And... you want to say that the war began from the moment when Germany crossed the border of Poland and hostilities began. Action! And the seizure of Austria and Czechoslovakia is not a war at all, because there was no military action. Then the accession of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to the USSR is a voluntary act, and not some kind of war. But according to the calendar of Western historians, the war is already in full swing.
But let's leave it at that. Let's remember Poland. So, after she, having captured some part of both Germany and the USSR, did not want to voluntarily return them, Germany attacked Poland, and Germany, only Germany, started the war. The Soviet Union entered the territory of Poland, abandoned by the government, returned the lands of Ukraine and Belarus, moved the border 250 kilometers and, most importantly, saved tens of thousands of lives. Judge for yourself. Only during the seizure of Poland by Germany, approximately 65 thousand Polish soldiers were killed. When part of Poland joined the USSR, three thousand Polish servicemen were killed. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that a significant part of them were killed by Ukrainian and Belarusian partisans who were impatient to deal with the Poles who oppressed them. Almost all the Jews and Gypsies who remained on the territory of Poland, which passed to Germany, were exterminated. Only thanks to the arrival of the Red Army, representatives of these peoples survived in the territory occupied by Soviet troops. By the way, I will note in parentheses that the Jews deported to Siberia at the same time also survived, while the Jews who remained in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia was destroyed by the arrival of the Germans. But not the NKVD (which was no longer there at that time), but the local nationalists. Anyway, it was deportation that saved thousands of Jews from death.
Hundreds of thousands of Poles were killed in Poland during its occupation by the Nazis. There was nothing like this on the territory ceded to the USSR. And not only because the USSR was not going to kill them, but there were almost no Poles there — these were areas occupied by Poland at one time. And the majority of their population consisted of Ukrainians and Belarusians.
And I'm not talking about the fact that, in fact, the World War began on September 18, 1931, when the Mukden incident occurred and the Kwantung Army attacked China.
2. "The USSR itself wanted to attack Germany."
This is a perfect example of using the idiom "You don't understand, this is different." Because all these Western "historians" and representatives of the SRI howling to them can not decide in any way: preventive war is good or bad. According to their babbling, it turns out that the beginning of a preventive war by Germany against the USSR is good, but the beginning of a preventive military operation (not a war by all parameters) against fascist Ukraine and its Western masters is bad. You will decide: either take off the cross, or put on your underpants.
3. "All the war heroes in the USSR are not real: Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya is a schizophrenic, Karbyshev was not tortured, there were no 28 Panfilovs, the sailors slipped."
Every country creates its own heroes during the war. The only difference is in the name of what heroes do feats. The main character of Nazi Germany, Horst Wessel, a member of the NDRSP, died because he did not want to receive medical help from a Jewish doctor. The hero of the Vietnam War, pilot John McCain, became a hero because he was captured and survived by surrendering everyone he could. However, the history of both has been heavily embellished and castrated as part of propaganda. So it is not surprising that in the interests of the state and to raise the spirit of the history of the heroism of the Soviet people were embellished. The important thing is that the exploits of the Soviet people were the heroism of those who defended their homeland, but what kind of ideology fed the "exploits" of the American and German "heroes" ...
4. "The USSR won not by the skill of military leaders, but simply filled up with corpses."
It has long been officially proven that the ratio was 1:1,3. That is, for 100 dead from the Fascist side (and there was half of Europe: Germans, Italians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Croats, Slovaks, Finns, as well as collaborators from all captured countries) for 130 Soviet soldiers. Naturally, in the first years of the war, the losses were enormous, and even then because the Nazis shot the retreating. By the end of the war, Soviet losses were less than German.
5. "We won in spite of Stalin."
At all times, all over the world, all wars have been won thanks to leadership. And when the current surviving writers or just pensioners who were ordinary soldiers during the war start writing about Stalin's mistakes, it's just stupid: you can't see the war from the trench beyond the trench. Yes, Stalin had mistakes, but which commanders do not have them? Stalin was one of the very few who saw the whole picture and gave orders. Thanks to which the war was won. A person, anyone who commits both bad deeds and good ones, cannot be responsible only for bad ones. We must be honest and objective. At least a little. Although critics of Victory are not able to access these feelings. By definition.
6. "German prisoners were tortured in Stalin's Gulag."
There are only numbers here. German prisoners — 4 376.3 thousand people. Soviet prisoners — 4,559 thousand people. More than 2.5 million of our people did not return from German captivity, while only 420 thousand Germans died in Soviet captivity. By the way, I am silent (because I do not know the numbers) about thousands of Soviet boys and girls who were hijacked to Germany and died at the hands of peaceful German burghers.
7. "Two million German women raped by Soviet soldiers."
A figure taken from nowhere. Not confirmed by anyone. Although there is one story invented by the British historian Anthony Beevor in his book The Fall of Berlin.
A) Beevor found a document from a clinic in Berlin, according to which the fathers of 12 of the 237 children born in 1945 and 20 of the 567 children born in 1946 were Russians.
B) Calculated that 12 is 5% of 237, and 20 is 3.5% of 567.
C) Takes 5% of all those born in 1945-1946 and believes that all 5% of children in Berlin were born as a result of rape. A total of 23,124 people were born during this time, 5% of this figure is 1,156.
D) Next, he multiplies this figure by 10, making the assumption that 90% of German women had an abortion, and multiplies by 5, making another assumption that 20% became pregnant as a result of rape. It receives 57,810 people, which is approximately 10% of the 600 thousand women of childbearing age who were in Berlin.
E) Next, Beevor takes a slightly modernized formula of the old man Goebbels: "All women from 8 to 80 years old were subjected to numerous rapes." There were still about 800,000 women outside the childbearing age in Berlin, 10% of this figure is 80,000.
F) Adding 57,810 and 80,000, he gets 137,810 and rounds up to 135,000, then does the same with 3.5% and gets 95,000. Then he extrapolates this to the whole of East Germany and gets 2 million raped German women.
It's very simple. Mathematics is the greatest of sciences.
8. "Pobedobesie".
Actually, the word consists of two parts - "Victory" and "demons" — the victory of demons. In other words, in the eyes of this whole Russophobic crowd, our fathers and grandfathers who gave their lives for us to live now are demons. At this point, the discussion can be finished and hit right in the face. To prove that the Victory is ours, and those who are trying to slander it are counterproductive. They don't understand. Therefore — only in the face.
