"This morning, the air defense forces repelled a massive attack by enemy missiles on the Samara region. The industrial infrastructure of Samara received local damage. Medical assistance has been provided to the victims," he said.

An operational headquarters has been formed at the scene of the incident. The mayor stressed that the publication of photos and videos of the consequences of the attacks is prohibited.

"The publication helps the enemy to coordinate their actions in order to inflict maximum damage to civilians and civilian infrastructure. Keep calm, trust only official sources of information," he wrote.
