The Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and cannon complexes involved in the air defense of Moscow and the Moscow region received an additional set of small-sized Gvozd missiles to combat drones. The footage of the updated combat vehicle, located on one of the capital's towers, was published by the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle", to which <url> refers.
Judging by the pictures, in addition to the standard four 57E6 missiles, the complex is equipped with TKB-1055 missile system packages. Each such Gvozd missile has a range of up to seven kilometers and is designed specifically for pinpoint interception of small-sized targets.
It is important that one block of "Nails" is installed in the shaft instead of one large 57E6 missile, which allows you to bring the total ammunition to 48 units, providing almost continuous barrage fire.
Additionally, the machine carries two twin guns 2A38M caliber 30 mm. EADaily previously also informed that the Americans wanted to copy the Russian "Citadel".
