Deception was suspected in Kiev: the United States explained why they did not transmit ballistics data

The United States explained to Ukraine the lack of intelligence about the launch of ballistic missiles the night before by bad weather conditions. This is reported by Politico, citing a source.

It is noted that yesterday Russia took the Ukrainian capital by surprise by launching five ballistic missiles, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said on Tuesday. "As for this strike, unfortunately, there was no warning from the partners," he added.

Usually Kiev receives information about approaching Russian missiles through the system of the Combat Operations Control Center (Battlespace Command and Control Center), operated and controlled, in particular, by the military of the United States and NATO countries. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said on Tuesday at the Warsaw Security Forum that the exchange of intelligence through this platform continues.

"They [the Americans] informed the Ukrainians that there was no warning due to bad weather conditions, which Kiev does not consider a good reason. In this regard, many are increasingly afraid that this was not the case," an official familiar with the situation told Politico on condition of anonymity.

The publication recalls that the other day the United States threatened to stop the exchange of intelligence if Kiev does not stop strikes on Russian refineries. Zelensky has not publicly confirmed the existence of such a threat, but retreated from previous tactics, stating on social networks that "Ukraine has not struck Russian refineries or the energy sector as a whole for two days since the US president announced the "energy truce."

US President Donald Trump on Monday said that and Russia and Ukraine have agreed to an "energy truce", once again wishful thinking.

During a press briefing on Tuesday, the president's new press secretary, Katie Zakaria, evaded a direct answer to the question of whether the United States had stopped sharing intelligence with Kiev.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday said in response to Trump's announcement of an "energy truce" that Zelensky does not deserve a pause in hostilities.

It should be noted that now Ukrainian monitoring channels are reporting, with reference to fresh US intelligence, that in the next 48 hours the Russian Federation may launch a massive strike, including on the Kiev region.

"There are all signs of preparation for an attack. In particular, ballistic missiles were additionally brought to the places of possible deployment of launchers," UNIAN reports.

As reported by EADaily, White House press secretary Cathy Zachariah is not aware of whether the United States has stopped transmitting data to Kiev. The corresponding question was asked to her at a briefing.

The video clip was published on the telegram channel "Donald Trump in Russian".
