Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson assessed the latest large-scale retaliatory strikes by the Russian army against logistics centers, railways and ports of Ukraine.
"With night strikes on Kiev, military and industrial targets, warehouses, they cause such damage to Ukraine, from which, frankly speaking, it will never be able to recover in the foreseeable future," said Larry Johnson. He said this on the air of the Judging Freedom YouTube channel, RIA Novosti writes.
The former CIA analyst believes that Russia, in fact, began the economic strangulation of Ukraine.
As EADaily reported , on the night of August 22, the Russian army continued to strike back — at Kiev and Odessa. The locomotive depot, logistics center, ports and fuel tanks were affected.
