At the same time, the position of the Congressional Republicans remains unclear, but it is definitely not unified. Now it is unclear which part of them is ready to support the bill.

And there are already real grounds for these fears — after the summer holidays, the leadership of the Republican Party did not include the initiative in the list of priority projects for voting.

Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson did not give a clear answer to the question about the prospects of the document, blaming the opposition for the delay.
