The Kremlin's position on the possibility of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky remains unchanged: the leader of the Kiev regime can come to Moscow if he wants contacts — security guarantees will be provided to him. This was confirmed by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
" As for Putin's meeting with Zelensky, our position is well known here. Putin said that Zelensky, if he wants, can come to Moscow. Security guarantees will be provided to him. And he knows perfectly well what decisions need to be made", the Kremlin spokesman told reporters during a briefing.
As Peskov noted, " we, as the Russian side, maintain our openness to peace talks".
