Over 216,000 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since February 2022. This was announced today, July 12, in the The State Border Committee of the Republic.
"Since the beginning of the year, 70,066 citizens of Ukraine have entered our country: from the territory of Ukraine — 32, through Poland — 55,285, through Lithuania — 13,837, through Latvia — 912," the message says.
It is noted that "since February 24, 2022, 216,558 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus from the Ukrainian territory: 15,950 through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 153,073 through Poland, 42,087 through Lithuania, 5,448 through Latvia."
Recall that Russia is conducting a special military operation on Ukraine from February 24, 2022. Belarus does not officially participate in it, but supports Moscow's actions.
