Tehran has threatened to strike at US allies in The Persian Gulf and the In the Middle East, if their territory or airspace is used to attack Iran, the Wall Street Journal newspaper reports, citing Arab officials.
"Tehran, through secret diplomatic channels, threatens to strike at the oil—rich countries of the Persian Gulf and other US allies in the Middle East if their territory or airspace is used to attack Iran," the publication claims.
According to the newspaper, Tehran has sent appropriate warnings to Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. American forces are present in all these countries and, according to sources, the authorities of these states have notified the administration of US President Joe Biden of their unwillingness to provide the States or Israel with their military infrastructure or airspace for any aggressive actions against Iran.
