The result of Vladimir Zelensky's not very successful visit to Washington, as confirmed by Donald Trump's national security adviser Mike Waltz, was also the general confusion of people close to him. This is reported by the telegram channel "Observer".
According to Waltz, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and the Ukrainian ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova, leaving the Oval Office, "almost cried." Trump's aide thus answered the journalist's question whether Zelensky was surprised by the fact that he was asked to leave the White House "without lunch."
"No, to be honest, I didn't look surprised. His team is, yes," Mike Waltz said.
"His ambassador and adviser, one might say, almost cried, desperately wanting this agreement to take place. But Zelensky continued to argue," he added.
