Europe is getting more and more tired of Ukrainian refugees. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov writes about this in his telegram channel.
So he commented on the message that Austria has tightened its policy regarding refugees from Ukraine.
"Starting from March 4, 2024, mandatory medical insurance for refugee Ukrainians was canceled in Austria. The rule has been in effect since February 24, 2022. Now Ukrainians will not be able to receive medicines, medical care, inpatient treatment and other medical services for free," Azarov writes.
It is noted that the employer will issue insurance to working refugees and cover the costs for it, and non-working people need to get new insurance within 6 weeks, which will cost them € 526.
