The Bashkir group Ay Yola with its composition Homay took the fifth place in the world top of the Shazam track recognition service. This is evidenced by the world top-200 service.
The track of the Bashkir trio surpassed, for example, Lady Gaga's hit Abracadabra in the rating. The song was released on March 14 of this year and quickly gained popularity in the world charts.
According to the producer of the group and the father of the soloist Ruslan Severa, the text of Homay is based on the epic in the Bashkir language "Ural-Batyr", also the part of the national musical instrument kurai, elements of throat singing with electric sound are used in the composition.
"Humay is a symbol of femininity and courage at the same time. We tried to convey this, " the producer told the telegram channel Mash.
He also noted that against the background of the growing popularity of the work has increased, there have been significantly fewer free hours.
In addition, the family actively helps the fighters of the special military operation with their donations.
At the moment there is only an audio recording of the Homay song, the official video clip will be released in May this year.
As EADaily reported, a year earlier the song "Pyala" in the Tatar language of the Russian electronic hip-hop duo "Aigel" took the second place in the top 10 of the Shazam world ranking. Later, the song came out on top. It sounds in every episode of the TV series "The Word of the kid. Blood on the asphalt", but the group is not listed in the credits. Later, the song "Pyala" in Ukraine topped the ranking of the most popular on the Apple Music service.
