In Russia, men between the ages of 25 and 45 are most often missing. The greatest risk of being in this category are men aged 40 years
Such data was announced to the TASS news agency by the chairman of the Lisa Alert volunteer search and rescue squad, Grigory Sergeev, referring to the statistics of his organization.
He explained that volunteers traditionally believed that the objects of their search were most often the elderly and children. However, this opinion was refuted after the squad began to keep statistical records.
"The age range is 25-45, where the peak history begins around the age of 40," Sergeyev stated.
The interlocutor of the agency also suggested that among the reasons why men disappear, there may be "younger strokes" that lead to death. He gave an example of a situation when a person in poor health is sent home from work instead of calling an ambulance.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the body of Oleg Nikolaev, a 37-year-old candidate for deputy of the Ulyanovsk region from the Communist Party, was found under the windows of a high-rise building in Moscow. Sedative pills were found in his apartment, which are taken to relieve anxiety.
