The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, completed his visit to Germany ahead of schedule and returned to Ukraine because of the Russian threat in Sumy region. This is reported by the German magazine Spiegel.
The publication notes that Zelensky was supposed to attend the presentation of the Charlemagne International Prize to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, but at the last minute plans changed.
"Obviously, Zelensky considered it inappropriate to be abroad at a solemn event, given the situation," the publication quoted by <url> as saying.
Meanwhile, UNIAN refutes the information of the German edition.
"Spiegel's information that Zelensky completed his visit to Germany ahead of schedule does not correspond to reality," the Ukrainian agency reports, citing sources.
According to the German Defense Ministry, the head of the department Boris Pistorius and his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov signed an agreement in Berlin today on financing the production of long-range weapons on Ukraine. In addition, a contract was signed between Ukraine and the German military-industrial complex. Umerov arrived in Berlin for talks with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
As support, Berlin will provide Kiev with weapons and ammunition, pay for equipment repair services, provide support in the field of medical care, and also strengthen the communication system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The total volume of the above-mentioned support services for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is about five billion euros. The money comes from funds already approved by the Bundestag. Partially direct investments in the Ukrainian military industry and cooperation of arms companies are the declared goal of the German government to long—term and sustainable strengthening of Ukraine's defense capability," the German Defense Ministry said in a statement published on the agency's website.
