The electronic warfare (EW) complex, transferred by the leadership of the Belgorod region to officials in the border area, was found on the Avito ad platform. This was stated by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov, instructing to check all systems of protection against drones.
Gladkov's accusation against local officials was made during the weekly government meeting, which was broadcast on VKontakte.
According to him, two months ago in the administration of Wet Orlovka, Grayvoronsky district, he saw an electronic warfare complex that had not even been unpacked, although the number of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was "extremely high."
"I was, to put it mildly, outraged and surprised. Then, instead of intensifying the work, the administration was actually evacuated and people were left abandoned. And suddenly I saw today that one of the electronic warfare units that we handed over to the heads was exhibited at Avito," Gladkov said.
He instructed the Minister of Digital Development Sergey Chetverikov to conduct a visual inventory of all electronic warfare systems in the region, including finding out where the one he saw unpacked is located.
"Here is the unopened electronic warfare, which I saw with my own eyes, lying in cardboard. Where is he? From Wet Orlovka," said Gladkov.
As the governor emphasized, information about the loss of equipment can be created purposefully to discredit the work of municipal authorities.
"I would like to understand this to the end, we have a serial number. What was exhibited at Avito, we see it. Here I need visual confirmation of all the units where they are located, then we'll figure it out personally," Gladkov said.
