Rosselkhoznadzor prohibits the import of Russia of all types of dairy products of two Azerbaijani producers in connection with their refusal from the Russian inspection, the ministry said on July 9.
"The Rosselkhoznadzor announces the introduction of a ban on imports into the Russia of all types of dairy products produced by Azerbaijani enterprises LLC "ALLBUY" and LLC "MILK PRODUCTS". The decision was made on the basis of the refusal of the Azerbaijani side to conduct an inspection by the Russian Service of the specified producers of dairy products imported into the territory of Russia and their lack of interest in further deliveries of their products to Russia," the report says.
Rosselkhoznadzor has sent information to the competent authority of Azerbaijan about its readiness to inspect five dairy enterprises in the near future, which continue to send products to Russian recipients.
Carrying out activities in relation to these companies was supposed to monitor compliance with the legislation of the EAEU and verify the previously submitted guarantees of their compliance with the requirements and norms of the EAEU and Russia, as well as taking into account the shortcomings identified by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists during inspections in 2024.
"The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan has informed that ALLBUY LLC, which manufactures dairy products (butter and cheeses), and MILK PRODUCTS LLC, which is engaged in the production and processing of dairy products (butter), are not interested in further deliveries of their goods to Russia," the Russian department said.
